Addiction Recovery Channel

This month’s Addiction Recovery Channel features a talk by host and producer Ed Baker. Thirty years of clinical practice informs Ed’s understanding of people with substance use disorder. He has had the privilege of listening very intently to many people’s revelations about the ways addiction develops. Ed is also himself in long-term recovery for 35 years. Ed’s talk, “Understanding and Supporting People With Addiction,” answers many questions related to addiction-risk and the complex, gradual and innocent development of this disease. Ed also discusses the idea of “Positive Messaging” to dispel stigma. This talk was part of the Lamoille Valley 4th Annual Opioid Forum.
