The Black River Independent School Committee (BRISC) invites Rob Roper from Ethan Allen Institute to give a presentation on the benefits of school choice at the Ludlow Community Center. BRISC is advocating for school choice and exploring the prospect of turning Black River High School into a private, independent school, in the lead up to the November 28th vote in Ludlow & Mount Holly, in which voters are being asked to support a new merged school district. If the vote passes and it is approved, there will be school choice for grades 7-12, in the new school district, and Black River High School & Middle School will close within 2 years.
