Explore Uapishka, the largest alpine area in northeastern North America. This Rhode Island-sized alpine tableland sits in north central Quebec next to the Manicouagan impact crater, yet remains relatively little known and less explored. Tiny arctic buttercups, old growth white spruce woodlands, caribou, and willow ptarmigan are among the many splendors to be found. Local botanist and ecologist Matt Peters will share his botanical explorations and travels in the region.
