Each fall, the Department of Environmental and Health Sciences at Northern Vermont University-Johnson, hosts a popular speaker series featuring experts on topics in science for EHS students, faculty, campus community members, and the general public. The presentations are one of the many ways NVU-Johnson provides learning opportunities beyond the classroom to help students expand their knowledge and make connections with professionals in their field of study. This week's Current Topics in Science Series presenter was Ginger Nickerson, Ph.D., Forest Pest Education Coordinator, Vermont Invasives. Her presentation is titled: Telling Stories: Using Qualitative Research To Explore Natural Resource Management Issues.
