GMALL- China Shock Upsetting World's Trading System

It was only in 1888 that the United States overtook China as having the world’s largest economy. Since then the two nations have followed dramatically different courses. The other stagnating, going through prolonged civil war, and emerging as a much diminished “developing” nation. Now things are changing. China is on course to re-take its dominant role. By some measures it has already overtaken the U.S. How the world and the U.S adjusts to this new reality, and the issues Chinese dominance introduces, is the subject of Peter Radford's talk.
