Green Drinks- Supporting Zero Waste in VT

Ben Kogan is Founder of Reusable Solutions, an outreach organization focused on eradicating single use plastic and transitioning us to a circular economy. He will discuss the problems with how our linear economy (read: throwing everything out/recycling) are destroying our planet and some strategies to fix it. He works with brands that are providing reusable models, helps establish reuse for existing companies and works with NGOs advocating for legislation to help stem the crisis. He is host of the Sustainability Talk Show, Zero Waste Wednesdays and is likely best known for establishing the Vermont Reusable Can Carrier program with over 60 collection locations throughout the state.
