Chrissy Keating is an Injury Prevention/Safe Kids Vermont Coordinator with the Trauma Service of the University of Vermont Medical Center. They discuss how Safe Kids Vermont and the Northern New England Poison Center have joined forces to focus on injury prevention throughout the year. The first segment provides tips to prevent mushroom poisoning and tick-borne illnesses, then attention turns to the prevention of falls. Falls do not have to be a normal part of aging.
