As part of Ethan Allen Homestad's "Third Sunday" series, this month the focus is on Alexander Twilight, the educator, preacher, and legislator whose being celebrated in recognition of his 225th birthday. September 23rd is Vermont has been named "Alexander Twilight Day", commemorating his birthday. Twilight was the first African-American elected to the Vermont legislature. Bob Hunt from the Old Stone House Museum in Brownington presents.
