Telecommunications Plan Public Hearing

The Vermont Department of Public Service is working to develop and write a Telecommunications Plan that meets new requirements relating to broadband deployment, as well as COVID-19 funding and assistance for broadband connectivity, housing, and economic relief. This is the 2nd of two public input sessions, held on April 1st, held remotely. Each session was an opportunity to raise questions and provide feedback about topics related to Vermont’s telecommunications future — who has access, how much it will cost, and if it meets community needs and interests. In this session, the focus is on Cell Service, Public Safety, and PEG (Public, Educational, & Government) AccessTelevision.
