Conversations With Kay-VNA/Dementia Care

Francesca Creta-Merrill, Site Manager of the VNA Adult Day Memory Care Program, talks with Kay Rydder about the growing need for these services as our population ages. She describes the home-like and safe places provided by the three VNA sites in Chittenden County and the activities offered so individuals can be at ease and have fun. She also talked about the special challenges faced by caregivers and family members who need respite and time to themselves as they carry on to try to keep their loved ones with Alzheimer's at home as long as possible.
