Each year students of the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield, VT create boats using nothing more than cardboard and duct tape. The boats get raced on the pond out back and one team from each session is crowned the Cardboard Boat Race Champion and the team with the most dramatic sinking is crowned with the Titanic Award.
