In late November, Fiber Fair Friday took place at Heritage Winooski Mill Museum. Visitors kicked off the holiday gift-buying season with colorful yarns, macramé jewelry, felted hats and a Peace & Justice Center table of fair trade work from around the world. The organizers hope to celebrate the history of textiles in this area and connect to a more modern audience. This is the first event of its kind, and they hope to make it an annual one.
