Friday Night Lights at Cochran's Ski Area

Here is an up-close look at Friday night skiing under the lights at the long-running Cochran's Ski Area in Richmond. Few family names have been more closely tied to the community of skiing than the Cochrans. Founded by Mickey & Ginny Cochran in 1961 as a backyard row, the ski hill now operates as a community-based non profit, with a mission "to provide area youth and families with affordable skiing & snowboarding, lessons & race training".
