Local Businesses Support Community TV through Underwriting
LPCTV offers underwriting opportunities for local businesses who wish to show their support for local community television while taking advantage of a low-cost alternative or supplement to traditional advertising. In exchange for a tax-deductible charitable contribution, LPCTV will acknowledge each underwriter in its distribution of electronic and print media, including on the community bulletin board, and our website.
For more information about underwriting on LPCTV or to view sample "thank you" videos from the past year, visit lpctv.org/underwriting. You can also sign up right there on the site.
Here is a sample of a "thank you" video, which we produced for Heritage Family Credit Union, one of this year's underwriters:

LPCTV Turns 15
Thank you to all who came out for the open house last week to celebrate 15 years of community TV in the Okemo Valley. An unofficial tally estimated there were 60 attendees. We documented the occasion with video footage and photographs, which will be edited into a forthcoming montage. Shown below is a shot of the LPCTV Board of Directors & staff, posing with the cake; and the other photo is a close-up of the cake, showing the fine craftsmanship and creativity employed by Big Eyes Bakery.
A special "thank you" goes out to the restaurants who provided the "small bites": Brook Farm Vineyards, The Combes Family Inn, The Killarney, Mojo Cafe, Sam's Steakhouse, Stemwinder, & Table 19, as well as the cider from Brown's Orchard in Castleton.
Here's a video we made of the occasion:

We Have a New Strategic Plan
Check it out- In case you were wondering what we do...
"LPCTV provides the Okemo Valley region with equal access to multi-media technology for the purposes of education and information." That's our new mission statement, which was adopted as part of our new strategic plan.
Over the course of the past year, the LPCTV Board of Directors developed a new 5-year strategic plan. That new plan was adopted at the annual meeting in June. Here is a photo of us during planning session from last Fall at the Combes Family Inn:
Board of Directors Election Results
On June 16th, we held our annual meeting, which included the Board of Directors election. There were 68 valid ballots cast. 3 of the 6 candidates were duly elected, according to the rules posted on the ballots: Sharon Combes-Farr, Jennifer McBride, and Noah Schmidt. We welcome them to the LPCTV Board of Directors.
The Board will be holding its first meeting of the year on July 13th; at that meeting, the Board will consider appointing additional seats.
Thank you to all the candidates and those who voted for their participation & interest in LPCTV!
